Kate Bootman – Director

Kate has over 29 years of experience in dentistry, starting as a Dental Assistant when she was 16. She completed the National Certificate for Dental Nursing in 2000. She achieved a BTEC Advanced Award in Dental Care Education in 2003, with Distinction. She also has a BTEC Advanced Diploma Award in Dental Care Education Co-ordination.
Kate was a Practice Manager of a fully private practice for Oasis also becoming their nationwide Ambassador for Patient Care Co-ordinators (PCCs) where she enjoyed sharing her experience and training new PCC’s in their roles. This allowed Kate to fully understand how to facilitate and guide patients throughout their treatment process and ensure the high level of service you should expect. In 2015 Kate took the opportunity to work along side Carl Horton, Implantologist, as an Implant Co-ordinator & Business Development Manager. She has since become a business partner of this ever expanding business.

Carl Horton is passionate about dentistry and has travelled the world sharing his knowledge and lecturing extensively on treatment models and his pioneering research. After graduating from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1996 Carl worked predominately in private general practice. He went on to complete an MSc in periodontology and implantology he now divides his time in several practices, alongside his teaching and mentoring.

Carl, who has lectured on international platforms in San Francisco, Gothenburg and Athens, also assists in the training of foundation stage dentists at Birmingham University, in both clinical practice and restorative procedures, as well as delivering postgraduate lectures. With a special interest in periodontology and treating patients with aesthetic concerns, his vast experience covers non-surgical and surgical aspects of periodontal care, implants, guided tissue regeneration and gingival grafting techniques to replace lost gum and bone.

 

 

 

Dr Amit Pubari BDS (Liverpool)

Having graduated from the University of Liverpool, Amit has been pursuing his interests in cosmetic and advanced restorative dentistry and dental implantology. Winning an award in a paper in relation to the ‘Golden Proportion – the aesthetically pleasing smile’, his attention to detail has enabled him to provide many patients with excellent cosmetic results.

Amit is committed to postgraduate education and is currently completing a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry with the Royal College of Surgeons and a Masters degree in Dental Implantology. He has also completed multiple cosmetic & implant courses.

Having also received training in sedation, Amit is extremely experienced in treating nervous and anxious patients in all aspects of Dentistry.

Amit is continuously building upon his skills and dedicates himself entirely to each and every patient.
